What Can Be Recolored
Colors reach well beyond buttons and text — the whole scene can be tuned:
| Target | What You Change |
|---|---|
| Background | Solid color, or a gradient between two colors |
| Environment materials | Colors of 3D materials and assets in the scene |
| Textures | Texture colors on scene assets |
| Whole-scene grade | A single highlight color with everything else grayscale (see below) |
Background gradients, material/texture colors, and dynamic background positioning are covered in Backgrounds.
Monochrome & Highlight Grade
Give the whole playable a stylized look: enter one highlight color as a hex code and everything else turns grayscale. You also get Brightness, Saturation, Contrast, Grayscale, and Hue Rotate controls.
Full detail: Color Grading (coming soon).
Tips
- Use contrast — Text must be readable
- Be consistent — Same colors on similar elements
- Test on device — Colors may vary on mobile
